Coming out to Prospect Park to cheer on your favorite Brooklyn Marathoner? There are several great places on the course. See below for details on those and some places where you might be able to lend a hand as well. Fair warning - because this is a loop course you will see some of the runners 6-9 times, you might get attached!

13.1 Top Of The Hill

This hill is the biggest obstacle of the race for most runners. Marathoners will pass this location six times and will no doubt be happy to have support each time they reach the top. It’s a fun spot for spectators to set up camp and cheer and conveniently located near Grand Army Plaza and public transportation.

NBR H20 Station

This is probably one of the more exciting places on the course but it can get a bit crowded. North Brooklyn Runners is known to bring out a big contingent and has brought home the overall winner in 3 of the first 4 Brooklyn Marathons.

SBRC H20 Station

This is another great gathering point for one of Brooklyn’s local clubs at one of the quickest points of the course. Very exciting place to watch your runner on their last lap and head to the nearby finish. Check out South Brooklyn Running Club to learn more about them.

The Low Point

It tends to be a bit quieter on this end of the park which makes it an ideal place to make some noise and support all  of the participants. They’ll be feeling good having just completed the quickest section of the course!

Start/Finish/Festival

Of course, you are going to want to be here to see your friends and family cross the finish line! This is also a great place to lend a hand if you are so inclined.

Clicking on the map below will open a bigger copy in a new window.  Remember the race starts at 8:30am and first finishers are expected to cross the line in about 2 hours and 30 minutes!
